Georges Santoni Recio

Georges Santoni-Recio has worked all his professional career at RV&HB, starting as a law clerk in 1980, becoming a partner in 1990, and then managing partner in 2000, position which he still holds. He has developed a strong practice in foreign investment law, international trade and related matters.

He is also a practicing litigator, specializing in general civil and commercial litigation. Due to his fluency in English and French, in addition to his native Spanish, Mr. Santoni-Recio is especially well qualified to assist foreign clients in their business and litigation matters in the Dominican Republic.

Santoni has been internationally ranked by Chambers and Partners (Band 1 for Corporate/Commercial; Band 2 for Corporate/Commercial: Dispute Resolution). According to Chamber and Partners “Clients describe him as “one of the best lawyers to work with; he is resourceful with a good focus on our needs”. Rosa Campillo

Mrs. Rosa Campillo initiates her work as an associate of Russin, Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti in 1983, becoming a partner in charge of the Intellectual Property Department in 1992.

During her career, Mrs. Rosa Campillo has been Legal Advisor of the External Relations Ministry of Dominican Republic (1962 – 1983) and featured Professor of International Law Chair at the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña, since 1975, and several Universities, APEC PUCMM, Santo Domingo Catholic University and School of the Chancellery of the Dominican Republic.

Mrs. Campillo has developed a strong practice in Intellectual Property Law, International Law, and related subjects, so this highly qualified to assist both local and foreign clients doing business in the Dominican Republic.

Mr. Román Medina Diplán has been the manager of the Puerto Plata branch since 1993, where he has acquired a vast experience representing international individuals and corporations in contracts, corporate, real estate, tourism, casino and tax incentive areas.

Mr. Medina Diplán represents clients in the negotiation and closing of real estate transactions, as well as assisting them in the process of obtaining the tax incentives available under the Dominican Laws for eligible projects, all permits and licenses required for the construction and operation of condominiums and tourist projects.
